Ever since I got to college, there always seems to be a lot of downtime. Time when you have to find something to occupy the time. But sometimes you just run out of options and you're forced to just be fuckin bored. That has happened a lot here lately. Well, at least this semester is almost over. Then it'll be time for the Summer of Scott.
I went ahead and accepted Camp Horizons job offer. So.....umm.....yay.
Some people need to be shot. They better thank whatever deity they worship, I guess the greek goddess of "Omygawd" and the god "Duh", because they should have been shot by now. These people behind me in Art History (yes, art history..ugh), have to be some of the most annoying, stupid people on the face of this planet. They come in and sit right behind me, like they deliberately wanna piss me off. The class is right after lunch, and for some reason these 2 girls decide that eating in class is a fairly decent idea. So there is the chomping of chips and what not for about 20 minutes. Then one of them has the bright idea that "Well, my drink cup is empty. I think I will eat the ice in the loudest possible way I can think of." People 6-7 rows up in this very small auditorium like setting can hear the grinding of ice and teeth clearly. I know, because they turn their heads and look back.
As if this were not enough, they talk the entire time. They're attempt at whispering is the worst I have ever heard. Its like a normal speaking voice. You could listen to their whole whispered story. "Dave did so and so, then she went off with Ben. I was on the phone with Dave for about an hour last night, he was so pissed." Blah blah blah. I don't know who Dave is, but if he is so stupid to be associated and talk with those stupid ass, shit for brains, slapnut sum bitches, he really really deserves it. So they take up the entire class period chewing, chomping, slurping, and engaging in meaningless talk that certainly could wait until after class is over. Boy I wish I had a gun with a scope on it. Whew.
Well, my group in Technical Writing had to do a little presentation Monday. It was my first college "public speaking" presentation. I had my notes in order, I was prepared, and not nervous. But when it came time for me to do my part of the presentation, I stepped to the front and started out. I mean I wasn't nervous. For some odd reason though, I was shaking. I mean a full shake. It was like a surprise anxiety attack waiting for the perfect time to happen. I got through the thing, but I just shook the whole time, thats never happened to me before. It was kinda embarrassing. My group of people were very nice though. Natasha was in my group. She lives in the same dorm as I do. So we were walking back and I apologized to her and Alex. Alex headed of his way, leaving Natasha and I. She gave me hug, and said that it was alright. That helped, I felt better. If you could see Natasha, you would know why.....rawr....haha.
We hung out for awhile today. Everybody was bored. So we decided that if we were gonna be bored, lets all be bored together. Especially with the cable being out, but its back on again. So it was Natasha, Mandy, Tim, Shannon, Alex, and I. Has anyone ever seen 3 on 3 tennis? Well that was some wild crap. Fun though. We ate dinner at the "Rogers Cafe" or like my roommate calls it "the crapateria". The food isn't that bad. You've got lots of choices. From there, Tim and Shannon left our company to.....umm....bown chicka wann wann...j/k. They just left to go somewhere. The rest of us retreated back to my room. Played some cards, betting with certain things. Then we watched some TV and movies. It was a nice day today outside too. Did a lot of stuff today. Didn't seem like a Wednesday here on campus, very laid back day.
Only 72 days til camp. Hooray. Ok, time for sleep. I don't feel like kicking the sandman in the sac, and staying up late insomniac.
Anyways, bye jackass.
that was long
you should go after the rawr. :P
